The sauna at the Kaevuri Maja (Miner’s House) is a cozy, homely sauna with an electric heater. Although it is located in the owners' house, it consistently receives high ratings from guests staying at Aare’s B&B.
Originally built for the hosts and their friends, this sauna is not intended for loud parties but is perfect for relaxing sessions with family, friends, or colleagues. The sauna comfortably fits to 4–5 people at a time. Upon request, a traditional sauna ritual can be arranged with a local sauna master.
For relaxation, there’s a roofed terrace with seating. You can also set up a grill or enjoy a campfire during your sauna time. Refreshing sauna drinks are available from the terrace café.
You can enhance your sauna evening with:
- a shared movie screening,
- a fun cocktail-making workshop,
- a stylish disco night in the living room,
- or an active outdoor experience, such as a family-guided hike to Tammiku Mining Hill or a village walk.
Price: €50 / up to 4 people / up to 3 hours. Each additional adult: €5 | Each child: €3. Extra hour: €15
Aare’s B&B at Kaevuri Maja (Miner’s House) can accommodate up to 15 overnight guests. An additional guest apartment just a short walk away can host 5 more people. Tent campers and camper vans are also welcome.
If you’re planning a company event, the venue also offers an event host. Catering and other services can be arranged upon request.

The Miner’s House features a quirky and playful garden, flagpole, barbecue area, water station, outdoor toilet, fire pit, yard games, bicycles, swing, local area map, outdoor exhibition, museum room, flea market, bike repair station, workshop – and depending on the season, a colorful display of blooming flowers.
